A Healthy Play on a Classic Sandwich

SHORT DESCRIPTION:

Choose almond butter without added oil and sugar or make your own. By swapping out peanut butter for almond butter, you get the benefits of an alkalizing nut in your sandwich! 

RECIPE:

Spread almond butter over both sides of bread. Arrange strawberries/blueberries and bananas on top of the almond butter.

INGREDIENTS:

3 tablespoons of natural almond butter or steep and blend your own almonds
2 slices whole-grain bread
2 sliced strawberries or 1/2 cup blueberries
6 slices bananas
